NIDA Limited Competition Funding Opportunity Announcement

NIDA has made a new limited competition Funding Opportunity Announcement (FOA). The purpose of this FOA (RFA-DA-20-005) is to support the maintenance and expansion of existing NIDA-funded cohorts to continue addressing new emerging and/or high priority research on multidisciplinary aspects of HIV/AIDS and substance abuse in alignment with NIH-HIV research priorities.

OAR Website Redesign

The Office of AIDS Research (OAR) at the National Institutes of Health (NIH) has revamped its website with a fresh, new look and updated, reorganized content. The new site highlights the trans-NIH HIV/AIDS research priorities and the role OAR plays in developing and coordinating research initiatives across the NIH to address these priorities. The website also includes a list of NIH Institutes and Centers that conduct HIV/AIDS research.

C3PNO Preconference at the 22nd International AIDS Conference

On July 22, the Collaborating Consortium of Cohorts Producing NIDA Opportunities (C3PNO) held a pre-conference event before the International AIDS Conference in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. The International AIDS Conference is the largest annual HIV conference in the world.
